  • Iran denies attacks on UAE and warns of a strong response if Iranian interests are targeted from Emirati territory.

The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, has denied reports that Iranian forces carried out any missile or drone strikes against the United Arab Emirates in recent days, dismissing the UAE defence ministry’s claims as “completely false and baseless.”

In a statement, the spokesperson said that if any such operation had taken place, it would have been officially announced “clearly and decisively” by Iran’s armed forces.

The statement also issued strong political warnings to the UAE leadership, accusing it of allowing its territory to be used by US and 'Israeli' forces, and urging it not to “fall into their trap” or engage in what it described as hostile media campaigns against Iran.

It further claimed that the UAE has become a key regional base for US and 'Israeli' military presence, which it described as a source of instability in the region.

While saying Iran has previously shown restraint despite media campaigns, the spokesperson warned that any action launched from UAE territory against Iranian islands, ports, or coastal areas would be met with a “decisive and regret-inducing response.”
