US President Donald Trump said Tuesday that if returns to war against Iran, it would take two to three weeks to achieve his goals in the war.
“We’ve taken out much of what we’d have to do, probably another two weeks, two weeks, maybe three weeks,” Trump says in statements to US conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt.
“We either make the right deal, or we win very easily from the military standpoint”.
“These lunatics will not have a nuclear weapon,” he continues.
On Iran’s stockpile of highly-enriched uranium, Trump insists it should be part of the deal.
“Yes, we do. That’s part of it”.
Trump also dismisses Iran’s ballistic missile arsenal, focusing on the nuclear issue.
“Look, missiles are bad, but yeah, and they do have to cap it, but this is about they cannot have a nuclear weapon,” he adds.
He also claims that the United States intentionally avoided attacking Iran’s conventional army, as they are “much more moderate” than the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
“We’re not looking to decimate the army…We purposefully have not gone after them too much, because we think that they’re much more moderate, actually.”
