  • Palestinian teen killed by 'Israeli' fire in Hebron, another injured, local reports say

The Palestinian Red Crescent said Wednesday that 'Israeli' forces had shot dead a 14-year-old Palestinian boy during a raid in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.

"A child arrived at the Red Crescent Hospital in Hebron with a live-bullet wound to the abdomen. He was 14 years old and was pronounced dead," the organisation said, adding in a separate statement that he had been shot by "Israeli army bullets".

A second young man was also injured by live ammunition in the foot and was transferred to hospital for treatment.

According to local reports, 'Israeli' forces raided the Al-Haouz area and stormed the area amid heavy live fire, stun grenades, and tear gas.

Witnesses said the forces closed the main road, forced shop owners to shut their businesses, and fired live rounds and tear gas canisters toward civilians in the area.

During the raid, 'Israeli' forces also detained a man whose identity has not yet been confirmed after forcing him to stop his truck and exit the vehicle.
