The warning, described as “urgent,” was delivered by the Arabic-language spokesperson of the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, who also urged civilians not to return to dozens of border-area villages.

The Litani River, located just a few kilometers from the Lebanese–Israeli frontier, remains a key flashpoint in the conflict. For years, Hezbollah fighters operated south of the river. Under a previous ceasefire arrangement, the group agreed to withdraw its forces north of the Litani.
Strike targets launcher
In a separate statement, the Israeli military said it carried out an overnight strike in the area of Qalaouiye, targeting a launcher it described as “loaded and ready to fire.”
The army said the strike was conducted to “prevent a direct threat to the communities of northern ‘Israel’.”
The warning and latest strike highlight the fragility of the ceasefire, with the risk of renewed escalation remaining high as both sides continue to monitor movements near the border.
