'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed Argentine President Javier Milei in Jerusalem during an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.

The two leaders greeted each other warmly, with Netanyahu noting the similarity between “Javier” and the Hebrew word “chaver,” meaning friend.

Both sides announced the launch of the “Isaac Accords,” an initiative aimed at expanding cooperation between 'Israel' and Argentina.

The visit will also include the signing of agreements covering aviation, security, and artificial intelligence, alongside plans to open a direct flight route between the two countries.

Their meeting came after the Argentine President visited Jerusalem's Western Wall.

Milei is also scheduled to take part in 'Israel’s' annual "Independence Day" ceremony, where he is expected to light a ceremonial torch.
