The Jordanian Armed Forces announced on Monday that five missiles and a drone launched from Iran were intercepted over Jordan in the past 24 hours.

The Royal Jordanian Air Force successfully destroyed all incoming projectiles, the Armed Forces’ media directorate said, describing the operation as precise and professional.

The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate reported that authorities responded to 20 incidents involving falling debris and projectiles across the country. One woman was injured when shrapnel struck her home in central Jordan; she was treated and released from the hospital.

Officials renewed warnings against approaching or handling any suspicious objects or debris due to their danger, urging the public to follow official guidance and report suspicious items to emergency services at 911.

Authorities emphasized relying only on verified information from official sources and avoiding the spread of rumors or misleading reports.
