'Israeli' police foil plot targeting National Security Minister Ben Gvir

'Israeli' police announced on Monday that the Central Investigations Unit in the Jerusalem District, working with the Shin Bet, prevented a planned “terrorist” operation targeting National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir.

Authorities said a public prosecution statement has been filed against the suspect.

Over the past month, based on intelligence from the Shin Bet, special task force investigators in Jerusalem opened an investigation into a roughly 20-year-old man from East Jerusalem suspected of planning an attack against Ben Gvir.
