The United States and 'Israel' launched overnight airstrikes targeting fuel storage facilities in Tehran, triggering massive fires and killing four workers, according to Iranian authorities.
The strikes came as the regional confrontation entered its ninth day, marking one of the most significant attacks on energy infrastructure inside the Iranian capital since the escalation began.
Energy facilities targeted
Iranian state television confirmed that four oil storage depots and a logistics center responsible for transporting petroleum products were struck in Tehran and the neighboring Alborz province.
Large explosions were reported overnight, followed by thick plumes of black smoke that rose over parts of the capital at dawn.
Authorities said the targeted facilities play a key role in distributing refined fuel products across the Tehran metropolitan area.
Casualties reported
Iranian officials said four employees were killed in the attack, including two truck drivers working at the facilities at the time of the strikes.

Emergency teams and firefighters rushed to the sites to contain the fires and secure surrounding areas.
Fuel supply assurances
Despite the damage, Karamat Weis Karami, director general of Iran’s National Petroleum Distribution Company, said the situation was under control.
Karami stated that the fires sparked by the bombardment had been largely contained and stressed that Iran has sufficient fuel reserves to meet domestic demand.
"We have adequate strategic reserves, and the supply of petroleum products across the country will continue without disruption," he said.
Escalation continues
The strikes mark a further expansion of targets inside Iran as the conflict intensifies. In recent days, both sides have exchanged missile attacks and airstrikes targeting military and strategic infrastructure.
