Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko visited the Iranian embassy in Moscow to offer condolences following the killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In a statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Rudenko conveyed the condolences of Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to the Iranian people, signed a book of condolences for Khamenei’s family, and condemned the attack as “US–Israeli aggression”.
