8 hours ago|Italy urged its citizens on Friday to leave Iran and exercise extreme caution across the Middle East, over increasing tensions in the region.
“Italians in (Iran) for tourism or whose presence is not strictly necessary are urged to depart,” the Italian Foreign Ministry said in a statement cited by Reuters, adding that travel to Iraq and Lebanon is also strongly discouraged.
Regarding Italian citizens in ‘Israel’, the ministry urged them to remain vigilant and exercise maximum caution.
