With the arrival of Ramadan 2026 approaching, Roya TV is set to launch its comprehensive programming lineup for the holy month, offering a rich mix of entertainment, comedy, and cooking shows designed for the whole Jordanian and Arab family, perfectly matching the spirit of Ramadan.

Comedy Hour

Roya TV continues to present a distinguished selection of shows as part of its “Comedy Hour”, a staple for viewers seeking daily laughter and light-hearted fun. The lineup includes:

  • Watan A’ Watar: The channel’s flagship comedy series, addressing social and political issues with humor and a relatable approach for the audience. Starring Imad Farajin, Mohammad Altaiti, and Samaher Salameh.

Last Year’s Performance

The launch of the 2026 lineup follows Roya TV’s strong performance during Ramadan 2025, when Roya Media Group achieved outstanding results across all platforms, surpassing 2 billion views on social media (a 42% increase over the previous year) and more than 72 million views on the digital platforms (26% growth).

On television, Ipsos data showed Roya TV leading daily viewership in Jordan with a 56.6% audience share and more than 2.8 million daily viewers, securing its position as the leading channel for the ninth consecutive year. “Comedy Hour” achieved a 25.3% viewership share with 49% growth, while Roya’s cooking shows continued to lead their category, reinforcing the channel’s status as the top choice for Jordanian audiences during Ramadan.
