The airline said it immediately initiated standard procedures in line with international aviation regulations. A specialized maintenance team and necessary technical equipment were deployed to repair the aircraft. Additionally, Royal Jordanian arranged for a replacement plane from its fleet to transport passengers, scheduled to depart Jeddah at 7:00 p.m. local time.

Passengers were provided with hotel accommodation, while airline teams at the airport offered continuous support and updates to minimize the impact of the delay.

Royal Jordanian expressed its apologies for the disruption and any inconvenience caused, emphasizing that the decision to dispatch a replacement aircraft reflects the airline’s commitment to operational responsibility while maintaining safety as its top priority.
