An ‘Israeli’ attack on Monday has pushed Gaza’s precarious ceasefire to the brink of collapse. ‘Israeli’ forces launched a series of intense airstrikes and ground strikes across the strip, concentrating heavy firepower on the southern cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis.

The operations, which included the systematic leveling of residential neighborhoods, have sparked widespread panic among displaced populations and residents already struggling under catastrophic humanitarian conditions.

Khan Yunis: Airstrikes and 'Man-Made Earthquakes'

The eastern parts of Khan Yunis were the primary theater for the most violent operations between Sunday night and dawn Monday.

‘Israeli’ fighter jets carried out two direct strikes on residential neighborhoods and agricultural lands, causing extensive structural damage.

The aerial campaign was coupled with massive explosions that shook the entire governorate.

Local reports confirmed these were "controlled detonations" carried out by ‘Israeli’ engineering corps.

Entire residential blocks were demolished in what appears to be a "scorched earth" policy aimed at expanding military buffer zones.

Simultaneously, ‘Israeli’ tanks and armored vehicles opened fire with heavy machine guns and shells across the city’s northern and southern perimeters.

Rafah and Northern Gaza Under Fire

Further south, Rafah was targeted by three consecutive airstrikes on locations within the city center and its outskirts. This was met with sustained artillery shelling in the northwest, where dozens of shells struck homes and infrastructure.

Reports say the ‘Israeli’ military has conducted a total of 12 airstrikes since the early evening hours.

The violence was not limited to the south; in northern Gaza, ‘Israeli’ artillery targeted the eastern borders of the Jabalia refugee camp and the Shuja’iyya and Zeitoun neighborhoods of Gaza City.

Casualties and “Silent Death”

The human toll continues to rise. In Khan Yunis, three Palestinians were killed Sunday by ‘Israeli’ sniper fire and armored units.
