Palestinian police solve 10-day mystery, arrest suspect in Nablus murder

Palestinian police have uncovered the fate of a 29-year-old man from Nablus, solving a ten-day disappearance and arresting the suspected killer.

According to Police Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Louay Erziqat, investigators began a detailed search immediately after the missing-person report, tracking all evidence and leads. The efforts, supported by forensic teams, led authorities to the crime scene and revealed the suspect’s attempt to hide the body within the city.

“The professionalism of our teams prevented the cover-up and allowed us to reconstruct the events of the crime,” Erziqat said, highlighting coordination across police departments under close supervision due to the case’s sensitivity.

The body has been handed to the forensic institute for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. The prosecution has opened investigations, and authorities confirmed they will pursue all legal measures to hold those responsible accountable while ensuring community safety.
