His Majesty King Abdullah II met on Sunday with the team that organised Jordan’s pavilion at Osaka Expo 2025 in Japan, which received around one million visitors.

During the meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace and attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, His Majesty commended the collective efforts that resulted in a world-class national pavilion, and highlighted the need to build on this achievement and consider it a model for Jordan’s participation in future international events.

Jordan’s pavilion at Osaka Expo 2025 won two gold awards at the Official Participants Awards Ceremony under the categories of content development and sustainability among medium-sized pavilions. It was the only pavilion to win two gold medals at this year’s exhibition, which ran from April to October with the participation of 165 countries.

The Jordanian pavilion topped visitor satisfaction ratings according to a survey conducted by Japanese specialist company PIA Corporation, reflecting Jordan’s competitiveness and creativity on the international stage.
