Roya TV has achieved a historic milestone in the Jordanian media landscape after securing 40 percent of total television viewership inside Jordan. The latest Ipsos study, conducted in October 2025, also shows Roya capturing 50 percent of viewership in West Amman.

This marks a significant rise from the 38.3 percent recorded in an Ipsos study covering October to December 2024, which had already confirmed Roya’s lead over all competitors in the Kingdom. The new figures reinforce Roya’s position as Jordan’s top television channel.

The study also ranked Roya first across six major program categories:

• Helwa Ya Donya, airing every Friday at 9:00 AM
• Donya Ya Donya, airing daily from Saturday to Thursday at 8:00 AM
• Roya Kitchen, airing daily from Saturday to Thursday at 5:00 PM
• Nabd Albalad, airing from Saturday to Wednesday at 8:30 PM
• Kol Sabt, airing weekly at 9:30 PM
• 7:30 Evening News, airing daily
• Al Modaraj, the sports analysis program airing every Friday at 10:00 PM

Steady growth over the years

Ipsos results highlight Roya’s continued expansion, with the channel increasing its audience base year after year.

According to Ipsos data from Ramadan 2025, Roya achieved a daily viewership share of 56.6 percent inside Jordan, reaching more than two point eight million viewers per day. The study was based on a sample of 1,100 Jordanians aged fifteen and above.

Commitment to innovative content

Roya says its forty percent viewership share this year reflects its strategic focus on developing original content, investing in local production, and delivering programming that resonates with Jordanians and reflects their daily interests.

Digital platforms

Roya’s digital platforms also recorded remarkable growth, achieving more than two billion views across social media during Ramadan 2025, and more than seventy two million views across the website and apps, representing a twenty six percent increase compared to the previous year.

The importance of television in Jordan

These results reaffirm television’s continued influence as a leading media platform in Jordan. Despite the rise of digital platforms, television remains uniquely capable of reaching wide audiences and building trust through professional and reliable content.

Roya reiterates its commitment to innovation and quality as it works to strengthen its leadership in Jordan’s media sector and expand its competitiveness across the region.
