The Government Media Office in Gaza strongly condemned what it described as serious and systematic violations of the ceasefire agreement by the 'Israeli' forces, marking 50 days since the truce went into effect.

In a detailed statistical report issued Sunday, the office revealed that the number of documented breaches had reached 591 as of Saturday evening.

It described the actions as “a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the humanitarian protocol attached to the agreement.”

357 killed during the truce

The figures published by the media office highlighted the deadly impact of these violations, reporting the killing of 357 civilians.

It noted that “the majority of them are children, women, and the elderly.”

The report also recorded the injury of 903 people with varying degrees of wounds, in addition to the “arbitrary arrest of 38 citizens” during ground incursions.

The office said the numbers demonstrate “the occupation’s insistence on undermining the agreement and creating a bloody reality that threatens security and stability.”

Types of attacks: shelling, incursions, demolitions

The report detailed the forms of assaults carried out by the ‘Israeli’ army during this period:

  • Shelling and strikes: 280 documented attacks by land, air, and artillery.
  • Direct gunfire: 164 shooting incidents targeting civilians, tents, and residential areas.
  • Home demolitions: 118 demolitions of homes and civilian structures, described as “a systematic crime” aimed at expanding destruction and collectively punishing residents.
  • Incursions: 25 ground incursions into residential and agricultural areas, crossing what the office called the “temporary yellow line.”

International calls and warning of failure

The Government Media Office held the 'Israeli' forces “fully responsible” for the humanitarian and security consequences of these violations, warning that their continuation “will undermine all international efforts to maintain calm.”

It issued a direct appeal to US President Donald Trump, mediating countries, and the UN Security Council to “take serious and effective action to stop these assaults and restrain the occupation.”

The office stressed the need to compel the forces to “strictly adhere to the terms of the ceasefire agreement,” affirming that “international pressure is the only way to force the occupation to respect international law.”
