Mark Epstein, the brother of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has made new claims about his brother’s knowledge of US President Donald Trump.
Speaking to NewsNation on Tuesday, Mark Epstein said that although Jeffrey never disclosed details to him directly, he was certain the financier had compromising information on Trump.
"He didn't tell me what he knew, but Jeffrey definitely had dirt on Trump," Mark Epstein stated.
He also questioned the accuracy of Trump’s public statements about their relationship. "You could see in the emails; Trump could deny it all he wants, but it's pretty clear everything Trump says is a lie," he said. After Epstein’s 2019 arrest on federal sex-trafficking charges, Trump told reporters that he had a falling-out with Epstein years prior and had not spoken to him in fifteen years.
In addition to his claims about Trump, Mark Epstein alleged that case documents made public had been altered. According to him, a highly reliable source indicated that the names of certain Republican figures mentioned in internal emails had been removed before publication.
Mark Epstein also suggested that FBI Director Kash Patel played a role in obscuring the circumstances of Jeffrey Epstein’s death in prison. Epstein was found dead in his New York City jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.
These allegations raise fresh questions about the extent of Epstein’s network, the handling of his case, and potential attempts to protect high-profile figures.
