Regional weather forecaster ArabiaWeather reported Friday morning that the latest satellite images show a “dense belt” of thunderclouds beginning to move across Palestinian territories.

ArabiaWeather specified that the impact of this weather system is expected to extend to Jordan within the coming hours, leading to unstable weather conditions across various parts of the Kingdom.

The report indicated that the weather disturbances will particularly affect the Southern Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and neighboring mountains. The forecast calls for thunderous rain showers that could be heavy and accompanied by hail.

This situation elevates the risk of "valley runoff, stream flow, and the formation of sudden and transferred torrents (flash floods)."

• Flash Flood Danger: Residents are urged to be highly vigilant against the risks of flash floods and valley runoff, and to avoid low-lying areas, especially the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and flood pathways.
• Slippery Conditions: Motorists are advised to drive with extreme caution on rain-affected roads. Water mixing with accumulated dust and oils significantly increases the chance of skidding and accidents.
• Visibility: Caution is recommended regarding dust stirred up by active winds, particularly in desert areas and eastern plains. Reduced horizontal visibility is also expected in the high southern mountains due to the potential formation of fog in the morning.
• Temperature: Citizens are advised to wear warm clothing due to the anticipated drop in temperatures.
