The Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Monday that two Palestinians were killed overnight in the West Bank, one by a 'Israeli' settler and the other by 'Israeli' army gunfire.

According to a ministry statement, a 32-year-old man was shot in the head by live ammunition fired directly by an 'Israeli' settler at the northern entrance to Hebron. The Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) reported that with this killing, the number of Palestinians shot dead by settlers since the beginning of the year has risen to 14, and the total since October 7, 2023, stands at 35.

Hundreds of thousands of 'Israelis' live illegally in settlements across different parts of the West Bank, which is occupied by 'Israel'. The United Nations and most of the international community consider these settlements illegal, though the 'Israeli' government maintains historical and religious claims to the area.

In a separate incident, the Health Ministry said a 17-year-old boy died from critical wounds sustained from 'Israeli' army fire in the town of Beit Furiq, east of Nablus.
