  • Heavy airstrikes and artillery shelling reported in Rafah, Khan Younis, and Deir al-Balah.
  • Homes destroyed and families displaced amid ongoing bombardment.
  • Humanitarian conditions worsen as shortages of food, water, and fuel continue.
  • Field sources warn the escalation may expand to more areas.

Field sources on Sunday reported a significant surge in Israeli Occupation attacks targeting wide areas across the central and southern Gaza Strip.

According to the sources, the city of Rafah was hit with intense artillery shelling and heavy airstrikes, destroying multiple homes and causing widespread damage to civilian infrastructure.

Simultaneously, the 'Israeli' forces launched demolition operations in parts of Khan Younis, accompanied by continuous shelling on the city’s eastern neighborhoods. The attacks forced numerous families to evacuate their homes in search of safer shelter.

The eastern areas of Deir al-Balah also came under artillery fire, leading to property destruction and sparking new waves of displacement among civilians. Local residents expressed growing fear of an increase in casualties as the bombardment continues.

The escalation comes amid an already dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where families struggle with severe shortages of food, clean water, and fuel. Aid organizations warn that the rising number of displaced people is straining their capacity to deliver relief.
