The VP, ahead of leaving ‘Israel’ said about the two bills put forward in the Knesset to annex the West Bank: "If it was a political stunt it was a very stupid political stunt and I personally take some insult to it.”
"The West Bank is not going to be annexed by Israel, the policy of the Trump administration is that the West Bank will not be annexed by Israel, that will continue to be our policy,” Vance added at the conclusion of his visit.
Concerns Mount Over Embarrassing Incidents
US officials are reportedly concerned by several embarrassing incidents that occurred in ‘Israel’ over the past 24 hours during the vice president’s visit, which notably included Smotrich’s insulting remarks towards SAudi Arabia.
In addition, Netanyahu declared that he "will not agree to the involvement of Turkish soldiers in the Gaza Strip; this is a red line."
"F**k Netanyahu"
The senior American official said these events "increase the White House's fear that the Israeli government's conduct will lead to the collapse of the agreement in the Gaza Strip."
The official added a stark warning: “Netanyahu is walking a fine line with President Trump. If he keeps going, he’ll f**k up the Gaza deal. And if he f**ks up the deal, Donald Trump will f**k him,” according to Hebrew Channel 12.
