JD Vance: Israel annexing West Bank is insulting

US Vice President JD Vance affirmed on Thursday that 'Israel' has no plans to annex the West Bank, a day after 'Israeli' lawmakers voted to advance two bills that could have paved the way for annexation.

"If it was a political stunt it was a very stupid political stunt and I personally take some insult to it," Vance said as he concluded his visit to 'Israel'.

He stressed that Washington’s position remains firm, "The West Bank is not going to be annexed by Israel, the policy of the Trump administration is that the West Bank will not be annexed by Israel, that will continue to be our policy."

'Israeli' Foreign Minister also weighed in, stating that the Knesset vote on annexing the West Bank will not move forward, signaling that the controversial legislation will not proceed at this time.
