Quds Brigades' Abu Hamza announces deaths of 8 senior leaders
The spokesperson for the Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Abu Hamza, announced details of the group’s role in Operation Aqsa Typhoon, describing it as “the largest and most successful qualitative military operation in the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict.”
In a statement published Wednesday across the movement’s platforms, Abu Hamza described the current battle as “a pivotal and challenging stage in the Arab and Islamic struggle.”
He also revealed, in a prominent announcement, the deaths of eight members of Quds Brigades’ “Rukni Council” during the ongoing war.
Abu Hamza emphasized that the Quds Brigades have been “an integral part” of Operation Aqsa Typhoon since its very beginning, stressing that the operation was launched “in response to the enemy’s crimes against Jerusalem, the West Bank, Gaza, and the prisoners.”
He added, “We made a historic crossing into our occupied lands and stormed the ‘Gaza envelope.’”
Abu Hamza praised the performance of the elite fighters of Quds Brigades, saying they “eliminated anyone who dared confront them” and demonstrated “high readiness through rapid raids.”
In the most significant development in his speech, Abu Hamza officially announced the deaths of several senior leaders in the movement’s highest military council.
