19-10-2025 20:03|The ‘Israeli’ military announced Sunday that two soldiers were killed and three were wounded in what it says was an attack by Hamas fighters in Rafah this morning.
They are identified as Maj. Yaniv Kula, and Staff Sgt. Itay Yavetz.
Both are from the Nahal Brigade’s 932nd Battalion.
A probe by the ‘Israeli’ military cited by Hebrew media says the incident took place at around 10:30 AM in southeastern Rafah.
Hamas fighters, as claimed by the ‘Israeli’ military, emerged from a tunnel and fired RPGs at an excavator.
Another machinery was hit by sniper fire, wounding three soldiers, with one in serious condition.
