'Israeli' authorities confirm identification of captive returned by Hamas

The Hostage Family Forum confirmed that the body returned by Hamas overnight has been identified as that of Eliyahu “Churchill” Margalit, 75.

Following the return of Margalit’s body, 18 bodies of deceased captives still remain in the Gaza Strip, down from 28 at the start of the current ceasefire.

'Israeli' authorities announced Saturday morning that they had officially confirmed the identity of one of the captives whose body was returned from Gaza on Friday, after completing the necessary examinations.
