Royal Jordanian flight makes emergency landing in Aleppo
Royal Jordanian (RJ) announced today, Friday, that one of its aircraft traveling from Amman to Aleppo experienced a minor technical failure just before landing, necessitating an emergency but safe landing at Aleppo International Airport.
The airline confirmed that all 77 passengers and crew members were safe and that the company took all necessary measures to ensure their comfort and arrange for required maintenance of the aircraft.
Details of the Incident
Royal Jordanian stated that Flight RJ433, en route from Amman to Aleppo, experienced a minor technical malfunction in one of its engines moments before landing.
The pilot immediately implemented standard safety procedures and landed the plane safely at Aleppo International Airport, according to the statement.
The airline confirmed that all passengers disembarked normally.
RJ has dispatched a specialized engineering team to Aleppo International Airport to inspect the aircraft and carry out the necessary maintenance in coordination with local authorities, the statement added.
