“My focus is on fundraising”: Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan responds to criticism over Gaza ceasefire

Bridgerton actress Nicola Coughlan addressed recent criticism after some fans accused her of being silent on the Gaza ceasefire.

Coughlan's response was triggered by a comment saying, "You've been awfully silent since the actual ceasefire. Just say you are satisfied only when all Israelis are killed."

"Many people are waiting to see if this ceasefire holds before saying anything. A ceasefire is a hope for a permanent peace for both the Palestinians and Israelis," she said.

The actor emphasized that her activism is focused on fundraising rather than issuing public statements. She encouraged her followers to continue supporting organizations working on the ground, including The Palestinian Children's Relief Fund and Medical Aid for Palestine.

Coughlan added, "I've had many comments like this. So, to address, my focus has always been on raising funds rather than releasing statements. Please continue to donate to these causes."
