Dubai Airshow excludes ‘Israeli’ firms, organizer confirms

‘Israeli’ defense companies will not take part in the upcoming Dubai Airshow following a "technical review," the event’s organiser announced Tuesday, without giving further specifics, amid the ongoing fallout from the Gaza offensive.
"The (Israeli) exhibitors that were previously coming won't be participating," said Tim Hawes, managing director of Informa Markets, which runs the show, speaking on the sidelines of a press conference detailing the exhibition.

Around 98 countries are participating in the biggest edition of the Dubai Airshow, which will feature 20 country pavilions.
The Dubai Airshow is a major international exhibition and one of the largest aerospace events globally, showcasing commercial and military aviation technology and hardware.
