VIDEO: 130 aboard Gaza Sumud flotilla, including Jordanian citizen, arrive in Jordan

• Jordanian citizen and 130 foreign nationals aboard Global Sumud Flotilla arrive in Jordan via King Hussein Bridge.
• Ministry coordinated evacuation, providing assistance and monitoring Jordanian citizens held during flotilla interception by ‘Israel’.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced the arrival of a Jordanian citizen and 130 individuals from several allied and friendly countries who were aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla, reaching Jordan via the King Hussein Bridge.

Fouad Al-Majali, spokesperson for the ministry said the evacuation included nationals from Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Oman, Kuwait, Libya, Pakistan, Turkey, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Uruguay.

Al-Majali noted that the ministry, in coordination with relevant Jordanian authorities, facilitated their passage and provided necessary assistance.

He added that the chargé d’affaires of the Jordanian Embassy in Tel Aviv visited Jordanian citizens held with the flotilla last Friday to check on their welfare. Three Jordanians had been detained, two of whom had previously left by air via Turkey.
