Wasp sting kills ‘Israeli’ soldier in Golan Heights after allergic reaction

An ‘Israeli’ soldier, identified as Levena Shalev, has died following a severe allergic reaction to a wasp sting while on a hike in the Golan Heights, according to a statement from the Nahal reconnaissance unit association cited by Hebrew media.

The association said in the brief statement that he served as a driver for a mobility unit of the 228th Brigade.
