Music by New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde is no longer available on major streaming platforms in 'Israel', following a concert in New York where she voiced support for Palestinians.

During her performance, Lorde shouted “Free Palestine” as the stage lights displayed the colors of the Palestinian flag. Shortly afterward, 'Israeli' users reported that her albums and songs were no longer accessible on Apple Music and Spotify.

As of Sunday, neither Lorde nor the streaming platforms had issued an official statement regarding the removal. It remains unclear whether the decision was made by the platforms, record distributors, or local licensing representatives.

Lorde has previously expressed support for Palestinian rights. In 2017, she canceled a planned concert in Tel Aviv following calls from activists urging artists to join the cultural boycott movement.

Universal Music’s 'Israeli' branch, which manages Lorde’s releases in the country, has not commented on the matter.

The singer’s comments have sparked renewed discussion on the intersection of art, politics, and digital platforms, with reactions divided between those supporting her stance and others criticizing it as politically motivated.
