Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators gathered at Museumplein in Amsterdam Sunday for the third major "Red Line for Gaza" protest in the Netherlands, demanding that the Dutch government impose effective political, economic, and diplomatic sanctions against ‘Israel.’

Local media reported that almost 250,000 people joined the protest this time.

The demonstrations were held in the capital after two massive rallies took place in The Hague earlier this year.

Organizers said the protests demand the Dutch government to take action in stopping “the genocide and end the occupation of Palestine.”

Previous "Red Line" protests saw massive turnouts, with organizers reporting over 100,000 participants in May and up to 150,000 in June, making them among the largest demonstrations in the Netherlands in decades.
