- Air raid sirens sounded and Ben Gurion Airport airspace temporarily closed.
The ‘Israeli’ military announced Sunday morning that its air forces intercepted a missile launched from Yemen.
The missile attack triggered air raid sirens across several areas and led to a temporary shutdown of Ben Gurion Airport’s airspace.
"Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted by the IAF," the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said, using an acronym for the air force.
The Houthis regularly launches missiles and drones towards 'Israel,' most of which get intercepted.
However, in September, one attack from Yemen injured 22 people in the southern city Eilat.
