The ‘Israeli’ Military Intelligence Directorate has released new details about the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, which occurred exactly one year ago.

According to the statement by the ‘Israeli’ military, Nasrallah remained in place and was actively attempting to rebuild the organization's capabilities in the days before his death, unaware that he was the next target for elimination.

The “New Order” Strike

Exactly one year ago, on Sept. 27, 2024, at 6:21 PM., the ‘Israeli’ Air Force carried out Operation "New Order."

Using precise intelligence, the IAF simultaneously struck Nasrallah’s secret underground bunker in Beirut with 83 bombs.

The strike resulted in the deaths of Nasrallah and Ali Karaki, the Commander of the Southern Front, along with other senior commanders who were present in the underground headquarters.

Intelligence-Driven Operation

The Israeli Occupation said that the operation was made possible by precise intelligence gathered over a number of years.

The bunker, constructed with Iranian technology, was highly compartmentalized, with knowledge of its location restricted to only the organization’s innermost circles, according to the statement.

In the days leading up to his elimination, Nasrallah had been attempting to plan counterattacks after the "beeper operation" and the killing of Ibrahim Aqil.
