Trump says talks on Gaza ‘inspired and productive’
US President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social Friday that he is engaged in ongoing discussions with Middle Eastern leaders aimed at reaching an agreement on Gaza.
“I am pleased to report that we are having very inspired and productive discussions with the Middle Eastern Community concerning Gaza,” Trump wrote. “Intense negotiations have been going on for four days, and will continue for as long as necessary in order to get a Successfully Completed Agreement.”
According to Trump, all countries in the region are involved in the talks, Hamas is aware of the discussions, and 'Israel' has been kept informed at all levels, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Trump added that there is more “Goodwill and Enthusiasm for getting a Deal done, after so many decades, than I have ever seen before,” describing the process as an effort to move past what he called a “period of Death and Darkness.”
“It is an Honor to be a part of this Negotiation. We must get the Hostages back, and get a PERMANENT AND LONGLASTING PEACE!” he concluded.
