Mother of 'Israeli' captive slams Netanyahu for using son’s name in UN speech
Einav Zangauker, mother of captive Matan Zangauker, expressed outrage over 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent speech at the United Nations, in which he read out the names of living captives held by Hamas.
“I heard the Prime Minister using Matan's name and felt a punch to my stomach,” Zangauker said. “While my Matan is being tortured in captivity, Netanyahu is using him for a tour at the UN. He is bombing my child and tormenting us families.”

Netanyahu, in his address, stated, “We have not forgotten you, not even for a second. The entire nation is with you, and we will not be silent or let up until we bring you all home, the living and the dead alike,” switching briefly to Hebrew. The speech was partially broadcast over loudspeakers aimed at reaching both Hamas leaders and captives still held since October 7, 2023.
Zangauker criticized Netanyahu for the apparent contradiction in his words, noting, “He told Matan he hasn't forgotten him, but didn't say that he's the one who ordered to bomb him and all the others to death. Netanyahu, this is the last time you take Matan Zangauker's name out of your mouth!”
