‘Israeli’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Netanyahu’s plane takes unusual route across Europe to USA
Amid the threat of an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant, ‘Israeli’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took an “unusual” flight path on Thursday to the United States, avoiding the airspace of many European countries.
The precaution comes as Netanyahu delivered an aggressive pre-flight speech, vowing to “condemn” Western leaders who recognized the State of Palestine.
“I will condemn those leaders who, instead of condemning the murderers, rapists and burners of children, want to give them a state in the heart of Israel. This will not happen,” the PM said before departing.

According to ‘Israeli’ broadcasters, Netanyahu’s plane, “Wing of Zion,” followed the southernmost route possible, avoiding the airspace of most European nations.
So far, it has passed over Greece and Italy before heading toward the Atlantic via the Strait of Gibraltar.
The route is seen as an attempt to minimize legal risks, such as the possibility of being forced to land in countries that might enforce the ICC arrest warrant.
Several European countries, including Slovenia, Ireland, and Italy, have indicated they would enforce the warrant if he enters their territory, making his passage over Italy particularly sensitive.
Despite France allowing Netanyahu to fly through its airspace, the Prime Minister also avoided the country as the ICC arrest warrant remains in effect.
However, others like Hungary expressed readiness to welcome Netanyahu, defying the ICC decision, while Germany reaffirmed support for the court but highlighted its special relationship with 'Israel.'
