Projectile fired from Gaza City: 'Israeli' army
The 'Israeli' military said a projectile was launched on Monday from Gaza City, where the army is currently conducting a major ground offensive.
"A short while ago, a projectile that was launched from Gaza City toward the area of Nahal Oz was identified," an army statement said, referring to a community near the Gaza border. "An attempt was made to intercept the projectile, and the results are under review."

On Sunday, the military announced that two projectiles were fired from northern Gaza, with one landing in southern ‘Israel’ and the other intercepted.
"Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in the areas of Lakhish and Ashdod, two projectiles were launched from the northern Gaza Strip," the military said.
The ‘Israeli’ army added that no casualties were reported from the projectiles.
Meanwhile, ‘Israeli’ aggression in Gaza has further increased the death toll, with the enclave’s health ministry reporting on Monday that 61 people were killed and 220 injured over the past 24 hours.
'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue "prevailing over our enemies" in the year ahead as part of his message marking the new Jewish year.
"We are determined to achieve all the goals of our war: not only in Gaza, not only in completing the elimination of Hamas, securing the release of our abductees, and ensuring that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel, but also in other arenas," he said in a statement.
