Irish musician memorializes Palestinian children killed by 'Israel', one name at a time
Patrick Keegan, an Irish musician known on Instagram as @pvkeegan_music, has garnered international attention for his poignant daily ritual of writing the names of Palestinian children killed in Gaza by the Israeli Occupation.
Since July 21, 2025, Keegan has dedicated himself to commemorating the young lives murdered in the ongoing conflict, organizing his tributes by age group to highlight the devastating toll on Gaza’s youth. Keegan’s mission is to ensure these children are remembered not as statistics but as individuals with names, dreams, and families.

Each day, he posts a handwritten list on Instagram, focusing on a specific age group, starting with newborns and progressing incrementally. He is currently documenting the names of eight-year-olds, a grim milestone that underscores the scale of the tragedy. With each post, Keegan focuses on a certain name that particularly stood out to him, sharing a story or snippet behind the child killed.
For now, Keegan’s pen keeps moving, etching the names of Gaza’s youngest victims into the collective consciousness, one day and one age group at a time.
