Second drone attack hits Gaza-bound flotilla, no injuries reported
The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) said Wednesday morning that one of its boats, the "Alma," was attacked by a drone t while docked in Tunisian waters.
The GSF said the attack, which caused a fire, marks the second such incident in two days.
Details of the Attack and Response
The GSF stated that the British-flagged boat sustained fire damage to its top deck. The fire was extinguished, and all passengers and crew are safe. The organization said an investigation is underway and more information will be released when available.
The GSF said the attacks are an "orchestrated attempt to distract and derail our mission."
It affirmed that its "peaceful voyage to break Israel’s illegal siege on Gaza and stand in unwavering solidarity with its people presses forward with determination and resolve."
