New US Centcom chief pays first visit to ‘Israel’

06-09-2025 21:21|The new head of the US military's Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper, concluded his first visit to ‘Israel’ in the role on Saturday, the ‘Israeli’ military said.
Cooper visited the chief of the ‘Israeli’ military Eyal Zamir, per a statement by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).
He was received with an honor guard as he arrived at the Kirya, an area in Tel Aviv commonly referred to as ‘Israel’s Pentagon’.
Cooper also toured ‘Israeli’ settlements at the Gaza envelope, the statement by the IOF added.
CENTCOM is the US military command responsible for the Middle East.
