'Israeli' army issues first evacuation orders for Gaza City operation: Katz says
'Israeli' Defense Minister Israel Katz announced Friday that the IOF will escalate its military operations in Gaza City until Hamas complies with Israel’s conditions to end the war. Katz described the campaign as decisive, emphasizing that it will continue until the release of all captives and the disarmament of Hamas, or the destruction of the group.
'Israel' has issued its first formal evacuation notice for a multi-story building in Gaza City ahead of an impending strike, signaling a potential expansion of attacks on key urban areas.
Katz posted on X: “The bolt is now being removed from the gates of Hell in Gaza. Once the door is opened, it will not be closed, and IDF operations will intensify, until Hamas’s murderers and rapists accept Israel’s conditions for ending the war, first and foremost the release of all hostages and disarmament, or be destroyed.”
Senior IOF commanders have framed the operation as a decisive move to break Hamas’s remaining strongholds in the city.
Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin, the IOF spokesperson, stated that 'Israeli' forces currently control roughly 40 percent of Gaza City and plan to advance further in the coming days as part of a broader strategy to seize full control.
