'Israeli' drone strike kills one in southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh district
A Roya correspondent reported that one person was killed in a drone strike targeting a vehicle in Lebanon’s Nabatieh district.
The strike, described as a significant escalation, took place in an area considered deep within southern Lebanon, raising tensions along the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine.
Direct strike on a vehicle
Field sources in southern Lebanon said a drone belonging to the 'Israeli' military directly targeted a car on the main road in the town of Seer al-Gharbiyeh, within the Nabatieh district.
The attack killed the driver instantly. Photos and videos circulated online showed the vehicle completely destroyed, while civil defense and ambulance teams quickly rushed to the scene.
Escalation on the northern front
The strike is seen as a dangerous escalation, given that it targeted an area far from the immediate border zone, signaling a possible expansion of Tel Aviv’s list of targets.
This latest attack comes as part of an ongoing series of near-daily strikes carried out by 'Israeli' drones, increasingly focusing on targeted assassinations.
The pattern has raised growing concerns that the situation could spiral into a wider military confrontation.
