Jordan, Russia announce visa-free travel for citizens
Jordan and Russia have agreed to abolish visa requirements for citizens of both countries, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi announced Wednesday in Moscow.
Safadi added that Jordan is continuing to work on expanding cooperation with Russia in various sectors.
In a press conference following the agreement’s signing, Sfadi reaffirmed that Jordan supports Egyptian, Qatari, and American efforts to stop the war in Gaza.
He called on the international community to pressure the ‘Israeli’ government to end its aggression on the strip.
Safadi also stated that ‘Israeli’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is leading a project that is destructive to regional stability and peace and is rejecting a Palestinian state.
The two ministers also discussed developing bilateral relations, increasing cooperation, and addressing tense regional situations.
