Hamas comments on Netanyahu's visit to Ramallah settlement
Hamas strongly condemned 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the Ofra settlement, built on Palestinian land northeast of Ramallah, describing it as a reflection of his “aggressive settlement agenda” and a blatant defiance of international resolutions that denounce settlement activity.
The movement said the visit amounts to a “new green light” for further land confiscation and encourages settler violence and systematic attacks against Palestinians, their land, and their property.
Hamas also warned of the dangers of 'Israeli' plans aimed at annexation, displacement, and full control over the West Bank, stressing that such policies “will be met with further escalation and confrontation as long as the occupation continues its aggression and crimes.”
The group urged the international community and “all free people of the world” to take urgent and effective action to stop these violations, to pressure 'Israel' to end its settlement activities, and to hold its leaders accountable for ongoing crimes against Palestinians and their land.
