Under its new framework, the program is scheduled to target a group of young people in 2026, forming the 54th cohort of compulsory service, with plans to gradually expand the number of participants in the coming years.
The renewed National Service Program aims to develop Jordanian youth both physically and intellectually, reinforce national identity, and instill values of patience and discipline through integration into the Arab Army, with its longstanding history and values.
This anticipated conference comes as a translation of Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II’s vision into concrete reality. The Crown Prince had previously announced the reactivation of the National Service Program, stressing that it seeks to strengthen national identity among Jordanian youth and instill values of discipline, responsibility, and loyalty to the homeland. He added that the program will contribute to shaping strong personalities in young people and motivating them to give back and serve their communities.
