European leaders to join Zelensky in Washington meeting with Trump

European leaders will accompany Volodymyr Zelensky on the Ukrainian president's trip to Washington to meet US President Donald Trump on Monday, after a video call the day before, the EU Commission president said.

"This afternoon, I will welcome Zelensky in Brussels," Ursula von der Leyen wrote on X, adding: "At the request of President Zelensky, I will join the meeting with President Trump and other European leaders in the White House tomorrow."
