Tel Aviv flight lands on third attempt after emergency alert

11-08-2025 21:20|A Greece-to-Tel Aviv flight landed at Ben Gurion Airport on Monday after three attempts, following an emergency declared over a suspected landing gear malfunction.
The 'Israel' Arkia-operated Airbus A320, carrying 160 passengers from Rhodes, made three landing attempts before touching down with all wheels deployed.
The spokesperson for Magen David Adom confirmed that ambulance teams, mobile intensive care units, rapid response vehicles, and motorcycle ambulances were dispatched to the airport to provide medical support and handle any emergencies during the landing. No injuries were reported.
