On Monday, hundreds of mourners gathered to bid farewell to two of Al Jazeera’s most dedicated correspondents, Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammad Qureiqa, as their bodies were transported from Al-Shifa Medical Complex to their family homes in Gaza.
The funeral procession saw a large turnout of journalists, local residents, and supporters who chanted slogans denouncing the Israeli Occupation’s repeated attacks on media workers. The ceremony reflected the deep respect and sorrow felt across the community for the loss of two voices who tirelessly documented the ongoing conflict.
